PURCHASING A PUPPY

We are located about 30 minutes south of Overland Park, Kansas. If you are seriously interested in purchasing a puppy, we invite you to drive to our home and visit with us and the puppies. We are also able to ship puppies by airfreight if traveling here is not convenient.

Puppies are given their first vaccination at 6 weeks. Puppies have also received 2 wormings. Puppies are then ready to be taken home. Pups can be shipped at 8 weeks.

Puppies come with pedigree papers and AKC registration application, and guarantee.

Please call us at (913)783-4417 or e-mail us at conard@mokancomm.net

What else do I need to know?

Should you purchase a puppy from us, we recommend that you have your pup examined by a veterinarian within 72 hours. If something is found wrong with your puppy, you may return the pup and receive a full refund.  If you encounter a problem, but decide to keep the puppy, veterinary expenses will be the sole responsibility of the new owner.

We also offer a 2nd health guarantee, good for 24 months, for any debilitating hereditary problems that may occur.

Our breeding stock has been tested and certified to be free of hereditary problems (hips, eyes, elbows, and heart).  This does not mean that all of the offspring will be completely free of these things, because no bloodline is free of every hereditary problem.  It means our dogs have been screened, and statistically, the probability of our puppies developing problems is highly reduced.

Hip dysplasia has also been linked to other factors beside heredity, such as diet.  The quality and ingredients of dog food can also be a factor, including over-feeding and allowing the pup to grow too fast and carry too much weight.  These factors must also be taken into consideration.
